Toy Expo!!!

I wish Toy Kingdom's first ever Toy Expo happened before Vito's birthday. We really truly literally spent a LOT at Toy Kingdom in the first two weeks of August buying everything Cars. Then when Vince and I checked out the Toy Expo last Thursday, we were blown away by the Cars merchandise!!!

Of course, since there's Cars, that means there's a lot of Disney stuff. Mickey Mouse, Disney Princesses, Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh... You name it, they had it! Nickelodeon was also there. And Transformers and Marvel and Ben 10 and so much more!

Vito would also have loved the fact that there were other cars at the Expo. There was Hot Wheels, which Vito collects. There was also this amazing exhibit from Tomica. The cars and trains and roads would've driven Vito crazy!

Vito also enjoys LEGO and MEGA BLOKS but I think these exhibits were more appreciated by grown-ups!

We didn't look at the girly toys (we have sons!) but there's a lot parents of girls will love at the Expo. There was Barbie, Hello Kitty, Sylvanian Families, Bratz, Polly Pocket.

Even though we hardly checked out the girls' stuff, we couldn't resist the Lalaloopsy Dolls exhibit. These are such brightly colored, uniquely designed dolls! So fantastic! If I had a little girl, I'd definitely get her these.

By the way, these Lalaloopsy Dolls were auctioned and all the proceeds will go to the SM Foundation. In fact, part of the proceeds from the Toy Expo will be donated to the flood victims of the recent habagat.

So the Toy Expo's not just for fun. It's for a good cause, too. You and your kids enjoy the toys you buy (at mega discounts!!!) and a family in need enjoys the donations your purchases made possible! Winner all!

Check out Toy Kingdom's Toy Expo at the SMX Convention Center, Halls 3 and 4, this weekend! Last day tomorrow!!!

UPDATE: Missed the Toy Expo? You can still visit Toy Kingdom at selected SM Supermalls, The Podium, Lucky Chinatown Mall and VMall. Or check out Toy Kingdom's website, Facebook page and Twitter!
